In uniting such a wide range of neuromuscular specialists and other key stakeholders, TREAT-NMD has become a significant catalyst for new research proposals and related projects, all of which can take advantage of the translational research platform established by the network.
Numerous funding applications have already been successful on national, European and international levels and others are constantly in the pipeline. The following three examples of EU funded projects utilizing the TREAT-NMD infrastructure address advanced diagnostics, biomarker development and advancing care in NMD.
BIO-NMD
