TREAT-NMD / EMEA Workshop on clinical outcome measures and endpoints for efficacy assessment for SMATREAT-NMD Neuromuscular Network and EMEA, in collaboration with the US advocacy groups, ICC and the neuromuscular community, are planning to host a 1 day meeting at the EMEA office in London on Monday 13th October 2008. The meeting is aimed at creating a roadmap for trial readiness in SMA and appropriate outcome measures have been identified as a key point for discussion.

First Myotubular Trust call for projectsThe Myotubular Trust will be holding a first call for research projects in mid to late September 2008. Projects should aim to find a cure and / or a treatment for any of the three types of myotubular myopathy.
