Because of the comprehensive nature of its services and the number of investigators, patients and sites it integrates, TREAT-NMD is quickly becoming the essential player in the neuromuscular field. Its suite of services can be accessed at a number of different levels, with companies able to choose their specific requirements from a number of "modules".

At the core of its professional services is the Clinical Trials Centre in Freiburg, an experienced trial management service with a number of major clients and, crucially, extensive experience in the neuromuscular field. Together with its commercial arm, the CRO Labconsult, it can perform every aspect of a clinical trial, from trial design through to trial conduct and project management, lab work, biostatistics and data analysis.

This means that TREAT-NMD can offer either a full CRO service itself or can work with a CRO appointed by a company, providing individual modules to facilitate the trial process, from the establishment of an expert advisory board to patient recruitment through the patient registries or trial site selection through a TREAT-NMD-led feasibility assessment.
