Association Muscular Dystrophy

Muscular Dystrophy Association was founded more than 20 years (in 1983) from the concern of a group of parents and patients suffering from various neuromuscular diseases physicians in conjunction with its investigation and treatment.

ADM is a registered charity which has developed an ongoing task to support care, teaching and research in the field of neuromuscular diseases. The Association, along with those of other countries, integrated in 1989 the World Alliance of Muscular dystrophies Associations (WAMDA).



Alberto Dubrovsky Alberto Dubrovsky

Professor Alberto Dubrovsky is a Neurologist dedicated to Neuromuscular Diseases. He is currently Chairman of the Department of Neurology and Director of Neuromuscular Disease Unit of the Neurosciences Institute at Fundacion Favaloro. He also serves as Medical Director of the Argentina Muscular Dystrophy Association since 1983. He is Professor of Neurology at the University of Buenos Aires for 23 years. Also has been designated as Full Professor of Neurosciences at the Favaloro University in 2008.
