TREAT-NMD - European network of excellence for rare inherited neuromuscular diseases.
The Polish patient registry for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), Becker Muscular Dystrophy (BMD) and
Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) is currently under construction. It is located at the Department of Neurology,
Medical University of Warsaw, and it will be set up in collaboration with genetists and clinicists from other centers.
Patients organizations will be also involved in this process. The investigators in charge are Prof. Anna Kaminska (amkam@amwaw.edu.pl) and Dr. Anna Lusakowska (alusakow@amwaw.edu.pl).
Currently, we are looking for sponsors to support our activity. The information will be updated as progress is made
in the setting up of the registry.

Polska baza danych pacjentów z dystrofią mięśniowa Duchenna (DMD), dystrofią mięśniową Beckera(BMD) oraz pacjentów z rdzeniowym zanikiem mięśni (SMA) będzie tworzona w Klinice Neurologii na Uniwersytecie Medycznym w Warszawie, we współpracy z gentykami i klinicystami z innych ośrodków oraz organizacjami pacjentów.

Obecnie poszukujemu funduszy do prowadzenia tej działalności. Dalsze informacje będą przekazywane w miarę postępu prac nad tworzeniem bazy danych.
