In conjunction with the joint Paris-Berlin MyoGrad graduate training program, a new short course in basic muscle science was initiated in 2010 to complement the more clinically focused Paris Summer School.
The Muscle Science Summer School in Berlin takes place immediately before the Paris school in June each year and covers the whole field of basic muscle research. Leading experts lecture on muscle contraction, muscle development, muscle metabolism, signaling pathways and novel experimental treatment strategies.
