Dr. Hoffman received his PhD in Drosophila genetics from Johns Hopkins University, and a post-doc at Boston Children\'s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, working on Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Dr. Hoffman works at the interface of academic medicine and for profit organizations, often called \'venture philanthropy\'. He has co-founded ReveraGen BioPharma, AGADA BioSciences, and TRiNDS LLC. His expertise is in muscular dystrophy diagnostics and molecular pathogenesis, and drug development (clinical trials, biomarker outcomes, and regulatory science).
