Position in Extended Committee - Clinical Representative

Jan Verschuuren is a neurologist and professor of Neuromuscular Disease at the LUMC. He is the clinical representative for the LUMC in TREAT-NMD, and president of the Dutch Neuromuscular Centre (www.ISNO.nl).

He is a member of the TREAT-NMD governing board and member of the TREAT-NMD Global Database Oversight Committee (TGDOC). In his clinical work he is seeing patients with a broad range of neuromuscular disorders. The main topics of research the LUMC are Duchenne and Becker muscular dystrophy, MRI of muscle and brain in patients with neuromuscular disorders, inclusion body myositis, and myasthenia gravis and Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome.
