EVELAM - Escuela de Verano Latino-Americana de Miologia

The Escuela de Verano Latino-Americana de Miologia (EVELAM) or Latin American Summer School in Myology is an annual short course in myology, taught in Spanish, that rotates through the countries of South America. It was initiated in Chile (Santiago, 2008), and has since taken place in Uruguay (Montevideo, 2009) and Argentina (Cordoba, 2010). Initiated by Andoni Urtizberea, head of the Paris Summer School, and Norma Romero of the Institut de Myologie, each course is arranged with the active support of local organizers in its host country and draws in 100-120 participants on average.
